Playing Dog

Timmy's giving his toy dogs a drink of water at the water bowl. He's starting to play pretend more and more now. It's really neat. He's so cute.

Valentine's Day

Timmy and I made a Valentine for Daddy. I cut out the heart and the doily and let Timmy color, put stickers on it and glue beads and flowers on it. Then Timmy went to Granny and Papa's and Patrick and I drove to Lake Jackson and ate Italian food. I had a fizzy pink Italian cream soda and chocolate cherry cake and couldn't be happier. We were going to go to a movie, but there weren't any out we wanted to see, so we went to Best Buy ( Patrick's favorite store) and looked for a DVD to buy, but couldn't find one we really wanted either. In spite of that, we enjoyed just spending some kid free time alone together. Everything is so much easier.

A Backyard Picnic

It was a nice day, so I took a quilt to sit on and some books outside in the backyard a few days ago. I guess Timmy liked it because today he got the quilt and took it outside himself before I realized what he was doing.

Trip to Grandmom and Granddad's

He loves to swing, and he loves to visit his grandparents. We saw lots of airplanes in the sky, that he's still talking about now that we're home, and went on a wonderful trip to the feed store where we saw chicks, ducklings, bunnies, parrots, guinea pigs, and mice. He was so excited he screamed with joy. There was also a little push around car that was for sale that he rode around in. He keeps telling me to take him to the "Animal Store" and reminding me that the mice were sleeping. It was neat for my mom and dad to get to see him and hear how much he's talking. He's really changed this month. He was calling them granddad and grandmom the whole time too for the first time.

He thought it was so much fun to get to wear Daddy's old glasses.
