Patrick and I went out for our anniversary on Sunday, can't believe we've been married six years now. Our lives have changed so much. Those were such happy times back in College Station. Making these decisions right now about jobs and moving is really, really hard. I'd love to move somewhere and have a fresh start again, the four of us now!

Bike - a - Ride

Timmy calls this going for a bike-a-ride. He saw a picture of a bike in a magazine yesterday and said wanna go on a bike-a-ride, bike-a-ride, bike-a-ride to Daddy enough that he got to go.

"Pretend" Potty Time

Timmy likes to go through the routine of sitting on the potty, but he doesn't actually go. He always insists on taking off both his shirt and pants, sitting on the potty, putting toilet paper into it, the more the better, twisting around and saying "bye bye poop", getting up and flushing it, then washing his hands.

We went to A&M for our friend, Joel's, graduation and commisioning. We ate some yummy freebirds and realized how much we really, really miss College Station. We didn't want to leave.

Mother's Day Flowers

Sara sent me beautiful flowers with butterflies for mother's day. They're really pretty on the table. Timmy has figured out, to his delight and my annoyance, that if he knocks them over water spills out. He likes the butterflies too.

Patrick gave me roses for Mother's Day, and when they started to wilt I noticed that Timmy must have added a silk one when I wasn't looking.

Timmy Update

Timmy kept saying "Oh my goodness!" yesterday. I was scanning Lexa's ultrasound pictures and when Timmy saw them he slapped my belly and said, "Baby in Mama's belly." He keeps wanting to eat carrots like Peter Rabbit. I should get more books with characters eating vegetables. Last night he came up to me and whispered "The lions are sleeping in the living room."

He pushed the laundry basket all the way into the living room and climbed in, but couldn't get out.

Clean, Hot and Itchy

Operation clean up the house went well yesterday. It started because our air conditioner broke, and we had to clean up the laundry closet so that the repair man could actually reach it. It's nice to have a cleaner house, but so hot. I think dirty and cool was actually nicer. Outside has been overrun by mosquitoes. They are especially swarming near the front and back doors. Timmy understands why we can't go play outside now that he got bitten when we tried that. The city is supposed to be spraying the streets and Patrick is putting out foggers. Tomorrow I think we'll have a Mexican food fiesta for Cinco de Mayo. I'll take any excuse to eat Mexican food. It's my favorite. We're certainly feeling caliete without air conditioning.
