2011 River Fun

Here comes Auntie Sara in the kayak. Timmy was enjoying playing with some algae.

We had fun in the inflatable kayak. It was hard to keep it straight though. We came pretty close to running into some tubers. We also saw, and managed not to run into, a turtle and some ducks.

2011 Dinner

Timmy's is very picky about food. He'll eat certain foods, only raw, not cooked, vegetables, nothing mixed together. One day he directed Patrick to make him this for dinner. He was very specific. I think the green stripes are sprinkles.

Timmy and Lexa pretty much act crazy whenever I start the vacuum cleaner. One day I started vacuuming, and they ran, yelling, to the playroom, but then came back dressed like this.

Then Lexa took off her battle gear and hid.

We spent the rest of the day in the pool and playing with bubbles. Blueberry pancakes for breakfast, hot dogs for lunch, and Grandad grilled steaks for dinner, peach cobbler and homemade ice cream for dessert. Fun, hot, Fourth of July, even with a drought instead of fireworks.
