Coffee Station

I made myself a coffee station in the kitchen, and I love it! I head straight here every morning. 🙂

I moved all the kids craft stuff that was there before to the kitchen table. 

Over where that table was is now the bench chest, and the kids each have a shoe basket.

Chaos in the Bathroom

I took this picture last night because it suddenly struck me as a fitting representation of this season of my life. Why is thepicture askew and almost completely upside down? No idea. Also the trash can is up on the drawers so little one can't reach it, with the toilet paper on top of it reducing its chances of being unrolled if left unprotected on its holder. Sigh. Of course now this most enticing toilet roll is in perfect reach from his changing table.

Sick Baby

Little one has hand, foot and mouth disease, so I'm just cuddling my sick baby today. 

Will was also feeling sick last weekend and now has the telling red spots on his hands and feet. 

We went to story time at the Uvalde library last week, only to later learn that hand, foot and mouth disease is apparently running rampant in Uvalde.

 I love the extra cuddles, but feel so bad for them when they're sick.

Snack Pouch

Thought I'd hand the baby a pouch of puréed butternut squash. He could just neatly suck from it. Clean, easy snack, right? Haha, not so much. Not quite what I had envisioned...

Road Runner on the Porch

This guy was on our back porch drinking out of the kiddie pool. The kids were very excited peering out the window at him and made sure I got his picture.

The Duck Park

Timmy really badly wanted to feed the ducks at the Uvalde park, aka the duck park. Every time we were in Uvalde he wanted to go there, no matter if it was midday and 100 degrees out. We finally remembered to bring bread with us one morning. We also discovered there's some very large turtles submerged in this pond as they came up to eat some bread!
