We had our little baby girl on Tuesday morning at 5:17. I started having contractions at eight Monday night. We left for the hospital at 11:30 and my water broke in the car. I'm glad that Patrick thought to have me sit on a towel. All I wanted was an epidural at that point. It took two whole hours for them to have me ready for one. Shortly after that my parents arrived and were there in plenty of time for the birth. It only took 30 minutes of pushing and she was out. She was pink and beautiful and perfect. Patrick cut the cord this time which he didn't get to do with Timmy. She weighed in at 9 pounds, 2 ounces and is 21 inches tall. We think she's tiny. She's just so much smaller than Timmy was. Tiny fingers, tiny toes, tiny ears, nose and everything. She's such a sweet, quiet little baby. She hardly cries except when her diaper's being changed, and she likes to be swaddled in a blanket instead of kicking out of it in 5 seconds.
