So much happening, so tired, so busy

I'm going to try to catch up on this blog, finally. Being home alone with the two kids has been challenging, sometimes exhausting and wonderful. It's especially difficult to leave the house with them. I tried out our new dualie stroller this morning, and I LOVE it. I was really missing having a stroller. Lexa is a sweet little baby. She doesn't cry much and spends lots of time sleeping in her swing. She had to get shots yesterday and only cried for a couple of seconds. She's been smiling and cooing at me. Timmy's been having a rough time. He's getting better with Lexa most of the time. He doesn't try to hit or kick her as much, mostly tries to poke her eyes now, but he's also sweet sometimes and wants to hold her and play with her, and he kisses her all the time. He's been taking naps again this week which is helpful.

Holding the kids

A week before school started, Patrick had one last job interview, and he got the job. So this month we've been looking at rental houses, packing up and moving, and here we are in College Station! It's so great. I love it already. Patrick likes work so far and loves the people he's working with. It's going so well. He said the first week of school was a blast. We didn't know how much we loved living in College Station until we left it. We're so happy to be back. It's where we want to be. We've really been enjoying the new house as well. It's on a busy street, but it has 3 bedrooms, a dishwasher, a bathtub, a mailbox, a front yard, a huge backyard, a garage, counterspace in the kitchen, everything we'll never take for granted again. It's nice and bright too.
