The kids’ elementary school sent out a calendar with a math and read/writing activity for each day of the summer which we’ve started this weekend. So today after they timed themselves running through an obstacle course in the backyard to calculate their averages out of five, their other activity was to make lists of what they’d like to do this summer.

Visit Aunt Sara and Uncle Kenny, Granny and Papa, and Granddad if we’re able to leave quarantine

Make a rug with the yarn hooking kit from Granny for Christmas two years ago
Learn to sew and knit
Paint
Do pottery
Teach Hugh to use her Easy Bake oven
Practice Calligraphy
Teach Will to sew felt animals
Go kayaking with Aunt Sara

I went up and found Timmy in his room as always and asked him too. He wants to:
Play a Lord of the Rings Minecraft mod
Work on his Minecraft mod design ideas
Convince Lexa to start reading the books he’s recommended to her and loaned to her
Finish glueing things to his wooden staff he is making
Try to grow a mushroom in his terrarium jar
Design more dungeons and monsters for his Dungeons and Dragons game
Read more of the Wings of Fire book series and finish the Elminster fantasy series he’s reading
Put up the new bird house
Build things with his broken parts collection
Learn how to fly the remote control helicopter he has
Get Lexa to save up money for her own Laptop
Paint some miniatures
Design an armor set
