Little Guy

Will is understanding more and more of what we say. I ask him is he wants to eat, and he'll start heading for his high chair.

He's clearly said mama to me several times now, only when he's most upset though.

He LOVES to play the dropping game. He drops his sippy cup or toy from the high chair, and you pick it up, he laughs, repeat again and again. Yesterday we played where I dropped his shoe, he laughed and picked it up and handed it to me, repeat again and again.

He's started handing me things when I ask him to, and is even often listening to the word no.

He opens and closes his fingers, our sign for nursing, when he's about to nurse. He uses it for everything too though- up, eat, more.

He was playing Peekaboo with me behind the shower curtain the other day. He thought it was super fun. He'd pull the curtain in front of himself and then peek out from behind it with a big grin on his face, over and over. Later he did it again with the window curtain.

A less cute game he's into lately is grabbing my face and other babies' faces at story time and sometimes vigorously patting them on the head.

His climbing skills are rapidly developing as well. He's started climbing on and standing on everything he can, end tables, couches, kid size chairs.
