Easter

Patrick mentioned how, as a kid, he would make an Easter nest for the Easter bunny to leave things in. I thought this sounded neat so we made a nest out of grass and wildflowers. Timmy added some garden flowers before we could stop him. I thought it looked very pretty. Gathering clover and wild onion flowers

My mom made Lexa the most beautiful white dress with lace inserts. I truly LOVE that dress. It's so delicate. I'm sure it she spent hours making it. Unfortunately Lexa didn't wear it long because, with her crawling around, she could have torn it easily.

Mom made Timmy a little romper with really sweet embroidered turtles, butterflies and bees. The children looked precious.
I remember wearing handmade Easter dresses when we were kids. That was very special to me.The birthday party stuff was still up, so Timmy looked for eggs all around the Radiator Springs box town.

He even found a few giant eggs.
Stickers were inside the plastic eggs.

Timmy can't get enough of breaking confetti eggs. He burned through dozens of them in minutes.

Lexa thought confetti eggs were fun too. She also thought eggshells and confetti might make a nice snack.

Somehow, the dogs end up covered in confetti too every year.
