Timmy is Three!

Since it was Easter weekend, only a few children were able to come to Timmy's cars party, but it was actually perfect for him with only a few kids here. It was calm, nice and happy instead of the chaos of a bunch of kids. Every one was nice, the children played nicely together, and Timmy had a good time. His playgroup friends, Jordon Mills, and Ellie and Margret Beal came. Emily and Lilly Mueller came for a short time at the beginning too, and, of course Granny and Papa, Grandmom and Granddad, and Aunt Sara were there.

I made all these boxes that were still full of books in our garage into cars for the children to play with. Jordan, much to his dad's dismay, always chooses pink, so he picked out a pink one, of course. ( Now we have very colorful stacks of reboxed books in the garage)
He loved making these foam cars and made and decorated all the extras during the week after the party. Good thing I had grandmom cut them all out the night before. There also were numbers, markers, stickers and stamps that they could decorate their box cars with.
I set up a race track where we played red light/green light and just ran around.
Playing on main street in Radiator Springs from the Cars movie. We left this up for a few days until it rained. Timmy had a great time playing in it.

Patrick grilled burgers and hot dogs for us, and we had lemonade as well as lots of watermelon and strawberries.

Timmy was extremely excited about this pull string piƱata when he saw it the day before the party.

Timmy blew out his own candles this year. What a big, three year old boy.

Opening his presents. Ellie made a card for him. Jordan wants him to open his next.

We went outside again after everyone had left and ran around the race track some more.

Max and Suzy ran too.
