Today would have been the kids’ field day at school, so we had our own in the backyard. They really loved it, and Lexa even thanked me afterwards. Their school had a list of games with supplies from around the house and we added some of the field day activities they always did at Sabinal: the sack hop race, water balloon toss, sponge squeezing race and tug of war and a new sprinkler Patrick had ordered. I was so worn out afterwards!
